How can I change my booking?

Accepted Answer

You can amend your London City Airport booking up to 24 hours before at no cost. Amendments made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a £5 amendment charge. The price could change if the dates and times differ from the original booking. You cannot change a non-amendable, non-refundable service as per our terms and conditions.

Am I able to cancel my booking?

You’ll have the option to take out cancellation cover for a small charge. Please note, you must still cancel at least 24 hours before the booking. If you cancel after this time you will be subject to our normal terms and conditions. You cannot cancel a non-amendable, non-refundable product as per our terms and conditions. To cancel, please contact Customer Services on 0345 4599 250 or email info@skyparksecure.com (office hours only: Monday - Friday 09.00 to 17.00). Cancellation requests can only be accepted within office hours and are subject to our notice periods (see Terms and Conditions).

My vehicle details have changed, what should I do?

If you have chosen a flexible booking option, you can update your vehicle details free of charge up to 24 hours before. Log in to the 'MyAccount' section and submit a change request.

Will my car be safe?

All London City Airport car parks promoted through our site are extremely safe. They offer high levels of security, with advanced CCTV systems, electronically controlled entry and exit barriers, and 24/7 walking patrols. All car parks have been awarded the Park Mark® Award for Safer Parking, a national standard for UK car parks. It shows they have low crime and measures to ensure the safety of customers and their vehicles.

Can I book short notice?

Yes, the most important thing is to print off your booking confirmation email or ensure you have it on a smartphone or device to take this with you to the car park.

Why do some car parks require me to leave my keys?

Some car parks enable you to park your car in the most convenient space when you arrive and will be moved by car park staff while you’re away. Then on your return, they can move it back for your convenience and a quick exit.

What's meet and greet parking?

Accepted Answer

Meet and Greet parking at London City Airport is where your car is collected from you outside the terminal. Parked in a secured car park by a driver. Brought back to the terminal on your return from holiday. It's extremely convenient and great if you’re disabled, traveling with children, or have lots of luggage. You can simply walk to check-in while the rest is done for you.

If I have booked meet and greet parking at London City Airport, what do I do on the day?

The meet and greet parking process couldn’t be simpler. Please check your booking confirmation and underneath the arrival procedure, there is a telephone number for the Meet and Greet provider that you have booked. Call 20 minutes prior to your arrival at your airport terminal. Proceed to the pick-up point with your booking confirmation/reference. The parking attendant will take the car to a secure car park. Leaving you free to head to check-in.

If I have booked meet and greet parking at London City Airport, what do I do once I return from my trip?

As with your arrival, the chauffeurs will need 20 minutes notice to bring your car to the pick-up point. We advise that you call them once you have collected your luggage from the carousel to avoid having to wait for their arrival. Once you have met the driver, they will return your car and you will be able to drive home.

What if my flight back to London City Airport is delayed and I overrun my parking time?

Don't worry, your car will be safe until you return. When you arrive back at the airport car park, you can pay for the extra hours you exceed locally. Extra hours are charged at the London City Airport parking operator's gate rate.

What happens if I return early?

Accepted Answer

Please contact the car park or meet and greet provider to inform them of your early return. Refunds cannot be made for part or unused stays. The car park contact details are on your booking confirmation.

How long before departure should I arrive at the airport car park?

When you should arrive will depend on your airline and flight. We always recommend giving yourself as much time as possible to account for traffic and long queues at check-in.

How do I obtain a VAT or credit/debit card receipt?

Is there free wireless Internet access at the airport?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible to all passengers throughout the terminal. To pre-register for this service please click here. Remember your username and password so you can access the service when you arrive at the airport.

Are there shower facilities I can use at the airport?

There are currently no shower facilities at the Airport. British Airways does have an arrangement with a local hotel for passengers on the JFK route - passengers should contact their airline for further information.

Question 18

Can I use a form of ID other than my passport when taking a flight from London City Airport?

Accepted Answer

At present photo ID such as a driving licence can only be used for domestic flights. A national ID card can be used for travel within the EU area and Switzerland otherwise a passport is required for all non-domestic flights.

Can I use the self-service check-in kiosks at the airport?

Accepted Answer

Passengers can check-in for flights with British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, Alitalia, Aer Arann, Luxair, KLM and SWISS using the CUSS machines in the Terminal concourse.
